Perspective
One moment can change your life forever. I think we all know that but to see it in flesh and blood is a different story. I am sure that is what the parents of the little girl I met yesterday think everyday. Last night I met Lily, a 23-month old little girl, with a sweet soul and a bright smile. Lily is only a month younger than Emily yet she cannot walk or talk. She was in a car accident with her family and is developmentally delayed. Her older sister, Trinity, told us the story of the car accident. To hear these hard facts calmly retold by this young lady was eye-opening. Trinity broke her nose and had glass taken out of her eye. Their older brother ended up with 150 stitches in his face. Lily stopped breathing for 5 minutes. While I played with Lily, I couldn't hug her enough, because in one small moment, your life can change forever.
