Big Brother Helps Out

Since I still wasn't feeling well, Jon made sure to tell Ethan to help me out this morning. As we were upstairs getting ready, I laid out the kids' clothes and then got in the shower. Ethan automatically asked me if he could go downstairs instead of getting dressed, but I told him he had to be dressed in order to go back downstairs to play. While I was in the shower, Ethan came into the bathroom and asked me if Emily had had her pull-up changed this morning - a strange question - but when I said that Daddy had changed her when she got up, he immediately left. A few minutes later Ethan came back into the bathroom and asked me how to do Emily's belt. Hmmmm. Now I knew what was going on - he was trying to get Emily dressed. What a sweetheart! When I got out of the shower, Emily was completely dressed. Even though her belt was a bit mangled, her big brother had been a big help.
