Today E officially became a boy. There is just something about first grade that sounds so big, so much older, so independent. I realize that it is just first grade, but my, how he has grown.

FIrst Day of First Grade
Yesterday when we were anxiously awaiting the first day of school, we drove past the school building, and E said, "Hi school! See you tomorrow!" Then right before dinner last night, he looked at me with much concern and asked, "Will they kick you out of first grade if you don't have all your teeth?" (E just lost his top right one - you can kind of see the hole in this picture.)
