Writing is like a snowflake because. . .

(Some of the comparison my students came up with today.)
every style is beautiful.
it's cool.
it is perfect and different in it's own way.
when you are ready to publish, it takes off with the wind.
snowflakes fall on the ground like words fall on the paper.
there are trillions of ideas.
no two are alike, all are unique.
both are awesome.
they go through a long process to reach a beautiful result.
it makes me melt with happiness.
you can form snow into anything like you can form ideas into writing.
