Tonight as we were eating dinner, Ethan told me he had a secret to tell me, but only me. In the middle of eating, he walked around the table and whispered in my ear that a friend of his from preschool has a girlfriend. What?!? So, I said, "What's a girlfriend?" Ethan's reply was "Someone you like a lot." Ok, so he does understand the concept. He proceeded to tell me the name of his friend's girlfriend, another little girl in their class, and that was that.
Girlfriends at four years old!?! Ugh. I can't even imagine what 13 will be like!
