Daddy's Girl

My little girl absolutely loves her daddy. This may even be an understatement. She rushes to him the moment he walks into the room. She always asks for him to read to her, put her to bed, sit next to her, and help with anything. He is her knight in shining armor, and I constantly get the response, "No. I want Daddy." He is by far her favorite person; Gram is probably a close second. This is probably the one thing about going back to work that makes me extremely happy. Jon now gets to spend so much more time with the kids then he would have if I were still staying home with them. I was always home with E, and they too have a special bond, but it isn't the adoration Em has for Jon. Ethan and Jon are buddies, but Em worships Jon. I love seeing her crawl into Jon's lap, snuggle in, and sigh, letting go, completely and totally happy. It melts my heart to see them so in love.
